Charities & NGOs
The same delivery discipline, sized for a volunteer organisation
I help charities and NGOs cut wasted admin, coordinate volunteers, and put workable plans around campaigns, grants and day-to-day running so the mission is not held together by one person’s inbox.
Why this page exists
I co-founded Men in Need Gibraltar and lead the operational side of a volunteer-led organisation: registration, coordination, communications and events. I also ran a political campaign with over a hundred volunteers.
Charities face the same delivery problems as any small team: unclear ownership, drifting deadlines, admin that eats mission time, with thinner capacity. I bring the same practical project and operations approach I use with businesses, sized for trustees and volunteers.
How I help charities
Process, delivery and lightweight governance. Technology only where it frees people for the mission.
I map how the organisation actually runs, where volunteer hours are lost, and what to fix first. Less paperwork for its own sake; more time on beneficiaries.
- Workflow review and mapping
- Admin burden reduction
- Role clarity and handoffs
- Support while changes settle in
Campaigns, grant deliverables and committee work with a clear plan: who owns what, what is due, and what “done” looks like, without a heavy project office.
- Shared task boards and milestones
- Grant and campaign roadmaps
- Volunteer task assignment
- Hands-on delivery support
Onboarding, rotas, reminders and follow-up that do not live in one person’s inbox. So the next event does not start from scratch.
- Volunteer onboarding checklists
- Event sign-ups and reminders
- Attendance and follow-up
- Handover notes for trustees
Committee rhythm, reporting and records sized for a small charity. Enough structure that trustees can see progress and meet obligations, without bureaucracy that volunteers will ignore.
- Meeting and action tracking
- Simple reporting for trustees and funders
- Consent and supporter records kept tidy
- Light frameworks that stick after handover
Gibraltar third sector
Local knowledge of how charities and NGOs operate on the Rock, with clear sight of data and reporting expectations that funders and EU/UK partners care about.
Registration and board admin
Practical help through registration, committee administration and the ongoing paperwork that keeps a Gibraltar charity in good order.
Delivery for the mission
Campaigns, events and grant work treated as programmes: critical path, owners and a finish, so volunteer energy is not wasted.
Data handled carefully
Supporter and volunteer records with consent and retention in mind. Prefer European-hosted tools when standing systems up.
Tell me where the organisation is stuck
If admin is eating the mission, a campaign is drifting, or trustees need a clearer view of what is underway, email me. I will be direct about what is worth fixing first.
